DAY 2 BANGKOK – WOODEN MON BRIDGE –POM PEE VIEWPOINT (B/-/-)

07.00hrs Pick-up from hotel by private 4×4 vehicle and direct to Kanchanaburi
Lunch at local restaurant (own clients arrangement)
After lunch, discover to Wooden Mon Bridge, where is a landmark of Sangkhlaburi.
You would be amazed by boat trip across the lake discover the mysterious hidden temple of three sunken temples (Wat Saam Prasob).Visiting the temple is easy with a long tail boat.

In the 1980’s Thai authorities build a dam to create a large reservoir of water, now called Vajiralongkorn. Fed by several rivers, the waters of the lake submerged the old village in the valley. Today the only thing still visible of the old village is Wat Samprasob temple, located on a hill. During most of the year merely the upper section of the ordination hall and the top of the bell tower can be seen. Towards the end of the dry season when the water level is lower a small island forms, and visitors can walk around the ruins of the temple
After finished boat trip, visit The Mon Bridge is like a landmark of Sangkhlaburi. The Saphan Mon (in Thai) is a wooden bridge built by the Mon that connects the Thai side of the city to Wangkha, the Mon Part with 400 meters, it is the longest bridge of its kind. Originally it was also used by vehicles but is now only a pedestrian bridge, cars and motorbikes use the concrete bridge, a little further.
Visitors would be amazed from how beautiful this bridge is, and it can become more remarkable when knowing that the bridge was built by the collaboration of residences in this area.

Continue to Poom Pee Viewpoint, located in Khao Laem National Park, Thong Pha Phum District.

Poom Pee is the name of the popular viewpoint of tourists traveling to or from Sangkhlaburi and must stop here because in addition to being a passage, and almost adjacent to the main road, then the Poom Pee still has beautiful views that the atmosphere was similar Pang Ung, probably because of the nature of the area that is surrounded by forests and mountains easily accessible trips causing the Poom Pee to become a must-not-miss place

Local Mining Homestay or Baan Pa Glen is nestled in a big forest at Pilok village, Kanchanaburi province.

Direct to Bridge on the River Kwai
Don’t miss! The world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai.
Visit the world-famous bridge over the River Kwai where you will have the chance to walk across the original bridge on the River Kwai. The sturdy Iron Bridge spanning the River Kwai Yai, which was a crucial part of the Death Railway, was built in some 16 months by Allied prisoners of war and Asian conscripts. The bridge was destroyed in Allied bombing raids towards the end of World War II and was later rebuilt by the Japanese as war reparations.

Cancellation Policy:
- 21 days before departure: 50% of total tour price
- 14 days before departure: 75% of total tour price
- 7 days before departure: 100% of total tour price
- No show at the airport on the day of departure: 100% of total tour price
- Failure to arrive will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be given
Child Policy:
- Under 2.99 years: Free of Charge
- 1-11.99 years: get 75% discount from adult rate when traveling with adults.
- 12 years and over: At full adult rate
Payment Policy
Full pre-payment is required within 14 days prior to departure in order to guarantee the booking. Otherwise, the booking will be cancelled automatically without prior notice

- No refund for unused services. Splitting of package is not allowed.
